Background

Monocarboxylate Transporter (MCT) is a membrane transporter which mainly transports lactic acid and pyruvic acid through coupling with proton. MCT2 contains 12 transmenbrane reagions, and its N-terminus and C-terminus localize at cytoplasm. MCT2 is predominantly expressed in liver and testis. Antigen of this antibody is N-terminus of MCT2 (2 - 19 aa).

Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Mouse cerebellum synaptic membrane fraction (SMF) was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF and probed with anti-mouse monocarboxylate transporter 2 antibody. Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and chemiluminescence detection system.
