Background

EXPREPTM MSC Medium enables MSC culture in serum-free environment.

MSCs cultured in EXPREPTM show adherent proliferation on uncoated plastic culture dishes and are readily induced to differentiate into adipocytes, osteoblasts or chondroblasts.

MSCs cutured in EXPREPTM display charactersitic surface marker phenotyes including CD73+, CD90+, CD105+, CD31-, CD34-, CD45-, HLA-DR.

MSCs cultured in EXPREPTM show adherent proliferation on uncoated plastic culture dishes and are

Feature and Advantages

EEXPREPTM contains no animal serum and serum-derived materials.

ELot tested for sterility, mycoplasma, osmotic pressure, pH, endotoxin.

EMSC grown in EXPREPTM proliferate faster than in 10% FBS supplemented media and show a more primitive morphology.

EEXPREPTM is ready-to-use straight from the bottle.
No additions or dilutions needed. (Gentamicin included.)

EMSC grown in serum-containing media readily adapt to culture in EXPREPTM.

EMSC Culture with EXPREPTM does not require specially coated culture plates.

Fig 1. EXPREPTM Supports MSC Differentiation

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) posess the ability to into osteblasts, adipocytes and chondroblasts. The adipose-derived MSCs shown at left were cultured in EXPREPTM MSC Medium factors and assayed for markers characteristic of each lineage.

Fig 2. Analysis of CD marker expression by MSC cultured in EXPREPTM

Adipose-derived MSC cultured in EXPREPTM display characteristic patterns of stem cell surface markers including expression of CD73, CD90, CD105, and lack of CD31, CD34, CD45,and HLA-DR.

Fig 3. Comparison of MSC morphologies between EXPREPTM and 10% FBS culture medium

Adipose-derived MSC cultured in EXPREPTM show strong adherence to uncoated plastic surfaces.

Fig 4. MSC proliferation in EXPREPTM vs 10% FBS-containing medium

Adipose-derived MSCs proliferate faster in EXPREPTM than in 10% FBS-contining medum.
