Background
In the case of synthesizing unknown proteins, it is strongly recommended that the experimental procedures are to be considered by using a negative control (i.e., add water instead of template DNA) and a positive control (AP).
By using this AP Template & Substrate, the experimental conditions of cell-free protein synthesis such as RNase contamination, contents of a reaction mixture, protein synthesis level and disulfide bond formation could be confirmed.
Since PURESYSTEM S-S does not contain the AP Template & Substrate, please order this kit if needed. PURESYSTEM Duo contains AP template & substrate, so the purchase of this kit will be unnecessary.
