背景

γ線照射によって作製したGPCR Growth Arrested Cells: EZCells™（凍結細胞）は、手軽に受容体スクリーニングを可能にします。
EZCells™（6x10⁶cells/vial）は、融解後、overnightの培養で迅速にスクリーニングを開始することができます。融解後48時間は、Fig. 1, 2に示すように完全な機能を有します。

Intracellular calcium response to carbachol stimulation of gamma irradiated (▼) or of untreated cells (■) expressing m1 muscarinic receptors. Cells were seeded into 96-well plates, loaded with Fluo4, and stimulated with the indicated concentrations of carbachol. The calcium responses were recorded on a FlexStation plate reader. Data are means +/- SD of triplicate determinations. Gamma-irradiated cells have EC50 values that are almost indistinguishable from untreated cells. EZCells™ are fully functional for 48 hours post-thaw.
