背景

ビスフェノールA（BPA）

BPAはフェノール環境エストロゲンで、内分泌活動を中断させる作用があります。ヒトでは、BPAグルクロニドはBPAの一次代謝産物です。ある研究によると、最も高いBPA暴露レベルの年代グループが6歳～11歳で、トータル（フリー+グルクロニド化）の平均は 4.33 ng/g Cre を示しました。尿BPAレベルは心臓血管疾患や糖尿病に相関がありました。その他の研究では、12オンスの缶詰スープを5日間取り続けた結果、缶詰のエポキシ樹脂に含まれるBPAによって尿中BPAレベルが12倍に上昇しました。缶詰食品の上清中のBPAはこのキットを使って測定されています。
