背景

HSP70（Heat shock protein 70）とは

熱ショックタンパク質の Hsp 70ファミリーは 66-78 kDa 範囲のマルチプルホモログを持ち、バクテリアの DnaK に対する真核生物の等価物です。最も研究されている Hsp70 メンバーは、細胞質ストレス誘導型 Hsp70 (Hsp72)、恒常的細胞質型 Hsc70 (Hsp73)、ER局在型 BiP (Grp78) です。Hsp70 ファミリーメンバーは高度に保存された N 末端 ATPase および C 末端タンパク質結合ドメインを持っています。Hsp70 へのペプチド結合は Hsp40 にアシストされており、Hsp70 固有の ATPase 活性を刺激し、ATP 加水分解を促進させ、またペプチド結合を増進させます。Hsp70 ヌクレオチド交換や基質結合は新規合成タンパク質のフォールディング、ミスフォールドもしくは変性タンパク質のリフォールディングを調整することが知られています。
